Parish Prayer Calendar
March dates are available..…Place your name on the calendar for the day you, your family, neighbors, friends will get together and pray. The calendar remains at the entrance to Church.

Candles - Envelopes to designate an intention for these candles are available in a number of places around the Church or simply use a plain envelope with the name of the intention, donors name and date, your preference for which shrine will be honored if not taken by someone else. The candles are lit for 5 days, the offering is $5.00. The intention will be listed in the bulletin.

Altar Flowers ~ Reserve your date(s): remembering an anniversary, marriage, birth, death, perhaps some special time during the year. To reserve a specific season or date, contact the parish office. Main altar flowers are memorialized for an offering of $75. Blessed Mother/St. Joseph flowers are memorialized for $50.

The flowers at the Main Altar on the weekend of March 7th are in memory of John Ferko, 1st Anniversary by his wife Jane and sons, John & Joey.

Flowers on the weekend of March 14th are in memory of Elizabeth Perilli, 10th Anniversary by Mickie & Patty Coleman (Main); Rose, Elizabeth & Gretchen Perilli (Blessed Mother); and Pepper & Ruth Perilli (St. Joseph).

Remember in your prayers these members of our parish family. To include someone, call or have a family member/friend call the parish office. Names are updated (except for the critically or terminally ill) for each bulletin. It is most important you notify us if a family member or parishioner is in the hospital. Hospital Visits & Visitation of the Sick - Everyday we as a community pray for the sick and the hospitalized, especially the intentions written in our prayer intention journal. If you would like or need me to visit, please call or have a family member notify our office directly. If you are hospitalized at another facility outside the immediate area, please be aware that major hospitals do have a Catholic Chaplain on their staff or will notify the local parish.

Shopping Certificates & Keytags
We have Redner's shopping cards! They are used like a debit/credit card. The parish receives a generous return for every $ spent. Keytags for Boyer's are also available. Use the key tag each time you shop and the parish will receive a % back.

Confessions - 3:30 to 4:45 pm and after 5 pm Mass until 7 pm

Wednesday
Confessions - "Encountering the Merciful Savior" extended from 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Holy Thursday - 7 pm
Commemoration of the Last Supper
Personal Reflection "In the Garden" until 10 pm

Good Friday - NOON
Liturgical Commemoration of the Passion
Personal Reflection "At the Tomb" until 10 pm

Holy Saturday - 11 am
Easter Basket Blessing
Noon - Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Vigil - 8 pm -
Please note the earliest time for Vigil Mass.

Easter Sunday Morning
Masses at 7am, 9am & 11 am

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on the cemetery grounds behind St. Joseph Church on Saturday, April 3rd, beginning at Noon. We will begin accepting gifts/candy/baskets to give our children/young people. BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket).
Age levels include: Birth to 3,  3 to 6,  7 to 10,  10 & up!

Next Breakfast, Sunday, March 21, 2010

Volunteers are needed! Setup/Prep Work: Saturday mornings. Workers needed during the Breakfast to Prepare/Serve/Deliver/Cleanup. If you can help, please call Joe O'Gurek or leave your name at the parish office.
