86th St. Joseph Parish Festival Summer Drive-In

Mark your calendar now!  This year, instead of the Annual Summer Festival, we are introducing “Our Summer Drive-In.”

Our Summer Drive-In will be held on July 17th and 19th.  This modified event will give us the opportunity to share the great aspects of our annual summer festival, but with restrictions that provide greater caution considering COVID-19.

Our drawings this year will be for money, home heat, (coal or oil) and gas cards, a Char-Broil Gas Grill, a Four Seasons Courtyard 5 Piece Chesapeake Collection Patio Set, and a Four Seasons Courtyard 28″ square steel fire pit.  Parishioners should have received their tickets by now and additional tickets are available at the parish office.

This year in place of our normal basket auction, we will have a MEGA BASKET AUCTION.  The Mega Basket Auction tickets were included in the parish festival mailing.  Each Mega Basket will contain at least $700 in value on some great prizes!  Additional tickets are available at the parish office.

TEN MEGA BASKETS ANNOUNCED!  Each $2 pink ticket allows you 3 chances to win one of the 10 Mega Baskets of your choosing!  Each basket is valued at $700!  Tickets are available for purchase at the rectory during normal business hours, Monday-Friday from 9am – 3pm.  Tickets will also be for sale during the Drive-In!

Ticket Information

  • The Blue, Yellow, Green & Gray tickets are $2.00 for each stub or $5.00 for the sheet.
  • The Pink ticket (Festival Basket Bonanza) is $2.00 for the whole sheet (all 3 stubs)
  • Additional tickets are available at the parish office during normal business hours.

Tickets may be dropped off at the Rectory during normal business hours, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.  The last date to drop off tickets is Friday, July 17, at 3:00 pm.  During the Drive-In, tickets may be dropped off at the Social Hall.  Tickets will also be available for purchase during the Drive-In.  

Sponsorship Opportunities

As in past years, there are sponsorship opportunities available.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated toward the success of Our Summer Drive-In!  

Items still needed include:
8 Cases of Wings: $60 each
Hamburger for Halupki: 5 donors at $100 each
Paper products & Take-Out Containers: 7 donors @ $100 

We are asking those who have donated food items (haluski/hamburger bbq) to still do so.  If you will make haluski or BBQ, please contact Betty Pampanin, Joe O’Gurek or call the parish office.

Unfortunately, due to the conditions we face there will not be a firework spectacular this year.  However, we are going to make fireworks in other ways, especially through your generosity and support.

Food items that will be available at the Summer Drive In are: Pierogies, Haluski, Halupki, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs, Funnel Cakes, Bean Soup, Chicken Soup, Hamburger Bar-b-que, Sausage & Meatball Sandwiches, Bleenies & Wings.

Monetary Donations

If you would like to make a monetary donation toward the success of the Summer Drive-In, donations can be mailed to the Parish Office, dropped in the Collection Basket, or brought to the parish office during normal business hours.
